A bucket bag is a great year-round everyday bag. Choose a yarn that you can wash and dry and you’ve got an easy maintenance purse you’ll adore. I love the idea of the premade strap that you can simply unhook and change out to dress up this bag if you choose to. Black, brown, gold, silver—they all work! The designer used leather boot laces for the drawstring, which I thought was quite clever. Make this one in a rainbow of colors and you’ll be set for any outfit you own. Sunburst Granny Square Bag

Thirteen squares and a set of leather handles is all you need to put together this fabulous bag. The designer used Cleckheaton California 100% wool in Mauve Glow and a 4mm hook. The yarn colors ensure this bag will go with almost anything–but I’m a jeans kind of gal and this bag totally works for that;-) This is a wool yarn, so some higher maintenance care will be needed, and the handles are not detachable.
