Have you ever used hand knitted washcloths? They are the bomb! Super soft and squishy with just the right amount of exfoliation action. I absolutely adore them, but I have to admit the ones I’ve made for myself have seen better days. Way better. Trouble is, these suckers just don’t wear out! I have half a dozen of them that are more than five years old. They’re faded, but they are still going strong. Never the less, it’s time to whip up a few new ones and relegate the old ones to doing dishes or using them as rags for general around the house cleaning. (Like toilets. They are great for cleaning toilets;-) You wanted to know that didn’t you? (wink)
Here’s a roundup of a few of the patterns I plan to try. You’ll notice that “grandma’s favorite washcloth” pattern is not included! I’m trying to broaden my horizons and move away from my old standby. Time for something new! Hope you find one or two you like;-)

This one is absolutely the first one I’m going to try. I’ve never knit entrelac and this seems like the perfect introduction to the stitch.
