Ever need a quickie to kill a few hours of free time? (No, not THAT kind of quickie, a knitted one;-)
I’m currently in the middle of a few WIPs, like five, and really wanted to finish something! Anything! So, um. . .I casted on this super easy ribbed cowl and got it whipped up before The Man even realized I’d started yet another project.
It’s been a process to train The Man to keep his thoughts to himself about not only the sheer volume of my yarn stash, which fits in my craft room by the way, and to shush on the number of projects I have underway at any given time. I have to admit, he’s really come a long way!
Anyhoo, give this pattern a whirl and tell me how it turned out.
Materials:
1 Skein Lion Brand Thick & Quick (or any Super Bulky Yarn) I used the colorway, Hudson Bay
Instructions:
Cast on 72
All Rows: *K2, P2; repeat from * around
I used the entire skein, keeping enough length to ensure I didn’t run out during the bind off process. I DID NOT bin off in the established pattern. I knitted each stitch on the bind off row. I like the clean look it gave to the edge. You can use whatever bind off method strikes your fancy.
Lovely! I will be making this, I have some Thick & Quick and have been looking for the perfect pattern, thanks!
Is this around and around or back and forth?
Hi! I made this in the round, but it can be done either way, just depends how you feel about a seam.
